Can anyone point me in the direction, if they exist, of the lists of all the ships, by name, that were in service in the British, French and Spanish navies at around the Battle of Trafalgar?

Not just the ships at the battle, entire fleet lists. Do they exist in any one single source?

I really just want the names of vessels (according to their rate/type).

Wikipedia has lists of ships around in 1805 for each from about 50 guns and up.

Tall order, Maggot.
If you're interested in ships of <<all rates and classes>>, we might be talking about 500 ships in the RN alone.

Some references that contain the desired data (although perhaps not in the sort of tabulated form you require -

"British Warships in the Age of Sail 1793-1817"
Rif Winfield

"La Marine du Consulat et du Premier Empire – Nomenclature des navires francais de 1800 a 1815"
Cdt Alain Demerliac

"Navios de la Real Armada 1700-1860"
Enrique Garcia-Torralba Perez

On Camcleod's links, on the RN list you need to go back to the 1755-1785 list to get some of the "real" famous British Napoleonic ships such as HMS Victory, HMS Royal Sovereign, and the various 74-rated ships.

You'll probably have to do the same with the French and Spanish lines but I'm not that familiar with those navies.

this list is very good:

there are a number of others for years and conflicts prior to the Napoleonic wars.

Thanks everyone for the effort, I kinda assumed a full fleet list would be hard to come by, but hoped the combined hive mind of TMP would have something.

I had seen the Wikipedia links but trying to figure out what was actually in service (and not sunk/captured) by 1805 was a bit of a chore.

Thanks again everyone for your input.

Fleet lists for a particular date are hard to find due to the sheer number of ships, sinkings, wrecks and captures.
The Naval chronicle of the Royal Navy sometimes has lists.
See this volume for mid-1805 p. 67:

Covers 44 guns and larger and gives their station.
Haven't seen comparable ones for the French or Spanish.
