Have you ever thought how it is that the nazis seemed to manage to turn their entire army evil?
Russians get their soldiers to be beastly to the locals?
How come seemingly sane individuals end up talking like revolution is inevitable? These sort of behavioural things have long interested me.
I was particularly interested in a podcast free on amazon prime music. It's in the hidden brain series – which are all quite interesting.
Separating yourself from the pack. link These sort of them us behaviours have been studied by others. Some say this is tribal behaviour hard coded into us from cave man times. When other tribes you met were quite likely to rob or kill you. You could pretty much only trust your own little tribe. The numbers are quite interesting there as well since optimum squad size is pretty much equivalent to extended family effectives and so on, company to tribe.
And one psycho killer per tribe was probably just about what you needed. |
