Oryx: Arms From Down Under: Australia's Aid To Ukraine
"In addition to providing lethal military equipment to Ukraine, Australia has also delivered "tactical decoys" to the Ukrainian Army. These likely consist of T-72-series, BMP-series and air defence systems fabricated by the Australian company GaardTech. These decoys could lure Russian helicopters, drones and artillery into attacking them, potentially saving the real vehicle or system located close by, and even causing Russian assets to expose themselves."

"Full size 3D robotic tank. The tank target contains active thermal cells, which can be detected from attacking land and air forces forces. Additionally, they can be fitted with our Electronic Warfare Elements (4G, 3G, GSM, WIFI, Bluetooth, VHF, UHF) and passive radar signatures."

That is good they are being sent to Ukraine.

Would be good if they could make some HIMARS as well.

I saw this article about a Czech company making them as well, possibly to be sent to Ukraine.

They say they can make 15 / month, so not a high volume.
These ones are made to be driven around on top of a car. The Australian ones seem to have their own power to drive around, including autonomously, which seems a bit better.

A much upgraded version of the WWII inflatable tanks. Nice.

Amazes me how much we all post about military weapons and where stuff is going. You would think decoys like this would have been kept quiet by the Australian military/government.

The decoys/range targets have been advertised in Jane's, ADM and other gun-runner trade magazines for years, mate. There's not much to hide.

It occurs to me that we should probably be producing vehicle wraps with fake silhouettes on them.
