My ancestral uncle was in the 50th Va (Jones Brigade, Johnson's Div) and was killed making the attack up Culp's Hill on the evening of July 2nd. His home church printed a nice obituary that I have in the family genealogical records. His body was not returned home and would end up being removed to Richmond, Virgina and rests in the large un-marked grave area of Hollywood Cemetery near Pickett's grave monument. Kim |
