guys can anyone tell me where the mk36 sbroc is located on the spruance class destroyer the original not the vls version of the ship any images and info on locations appreciated |

The launcher was basically in the same spot as the VLS tubes. There are lots of great photos of Spruance class DDs on the navsource.com link |

Dave – you're thinking of the ASROC (anti submarine rocket). The SBROC launchers are trickier. Most Spruance-class DDs carried four, but some were fitted with five. They were usually carried on top of the forward superstructure, two to a side, by the forward mast. This was prime real estate for electronics and so they got relocated during refits. If you want to get specific you'd have to know what ship and date to look for. |

Look at step four in the Dragon kit instructions here: link Pretty sure those were the locations for most of the class as commissioned. They are really hard to see in most photographs, but they did have a ready service locker next to each launcher for reloads which is a little easier to spot. The kit missed those. |
