I'm just starting a Soviet army for Bol Action but struggling to find the stats for a Quad AA MMGs mounted on a GAZ truck. I've seen a post on Warlords site that says it's only 60 points (if regular) but that seems very low if it gets 20 dice to hit? It doesn't get a mention that I can see in the Soviet supplement so wondered what others are doing?
Thanks Phil

Could it depress enough to target infantry?

20 dice it is,its a softskin.

Typically it will shoot, the target goes down (-2 to hit), losses are acceptable

Thanks for the replies so far. I have just found it in the Armies of the Soviet book. What I find odd is that it has a cost of only 60 points for 4 x MMGs plus the truck.

EasyArmy.com which I think is Warlord authorised, gives the cost of a basic GAZ truck as 39 points and then an option for another 15 points (54 total if regular) for a single MMG on pintle mount.

How is it then only another 6 points to upgrade from single to quad MMGs? A single MMG in the ground role is 50 points. Doesn't stack up to me.

PS I can't see any limitation to AA fire only and the model looks like it would bear on a ground target.

Yeah, too cheap. Maybe handicap like crew gets no cover, can't go down if it fired unless it abandons gun, which can be re-crewed with a Run order?

It is deadly, but being a truck can easily be destroyed- mine dies more often than not and it does take the place of a tank model!
