Put me down as less likely to watch. I'm old enough to remember the "made for tv movies" that were supposedly "based on a true story" from the 1970s. Even then I always thought they were intentionally misleading, made by people who had an agenda. Since then, one of my own main rules for life was not to do anything that would have my life turned into a made for tv movie. I'm in agreement with Gus, Terry Gilliam's 1977 production of Jabberwocky is probably as realistic a depiction of life in the Middle Ages as you'll find. Plus, it's funny as hell! There's a guy on Youtube named Ryan George who does a little thing called Pitch Meeting, also usually very funny. I'm not a Queen fan, but his take on Bohemian Rhapsody is pretty revealing YouTube link |
