Today, we played a Colonial game set in east Africa during the 18th century. You have to love all those Cocked hats! If you want to see how it played out, please go to this link
(Lawrence's lovely buildings are from the Colonial Steamboat company and 4Ground. The figure are Foundry and Crusader) The rules use are my own.. link |

Beautiful board and figures. Awesome report. Things don't always go the way of the guys in red. |

My after action report would lay the blame on damp powder and bad flints. |

There will be frightful row when the papers back home get wind of this! Great AAR – the thing about the colonial Brits, they'll just regroup and keep coming back – take a lickin' and keep on tickin' |

Thanks guys! – Naturally, it was the dice that were the problem for us, and the lower than normal number of command dice our rubbish officers had. I was pleased for once that I got to see how my rules about loss of NCO's/ Officers work, and I was pleased how well it Kyboshed our commands, and affected morale! |

The commander was drunk and the cavalry commander was either mad or had heat stroke. Now if I had been in command… |

Nice! Colonial wars in the eighteenth century were much more balanced than in the 19th. Very good period to game in the far corners of the globe. Nice game! |
