It appears the lost Spanish galleon which supposedly inspired The Goonies has been found on the Oregon coast: link

Be interesting to see what else turns up as they search for more elements of the vessel and its cargo.

One of our local gamers, Scott Williams, has been absent of late because he's working on this ( and gets mentioned in the article Parzival links to).
