Hello everyone,
Please, I am looking for a rule specifically for the medieval period but dating from before 1976, you don't know and you know where to find it? .Thanks.

The author of a set I have was Ed Smith, not sure they had a catchy title like modern rules do. Can't check as they are stored away at the moment.

Chainmail by Gary Gygax and Jeff Perren, maybe?
Can be purchased in PDF format (3rd edition) on DriveThruRPG.com.
It's dated 1979, but the game was first published in 1971. Some of the concepts were eventually incorporated into D&D, but the original game is historical.

Thank you all, it's not for collecting, but I find that the game systems before 1976 are more interesting because they are more outdated, etc… If you know of any others, please indicate it.

John Tunstill, "Discovering Wargames", Shire Publications 1969.
I don't have it to hand, but there are certainly rules for Ancients, Medieval, Napoleonic and others. The first actual rules I played with.

First, bravo for "Advocate", because he found a rule from the 60s!!!

Thank you advocate, you are the only one to have found this..!

The Ed Smith rules must be pre-1968 as I had them when I went to university that year.
