Great minis and AAR – also quite historical; the Paraguayians relied (at least in the early war) on a cavalry charge to break up their opponents followed by infantry action; to be fair to them, at the start of the war Paraguay did have probably the best cavalry in Latin America; however they were decimated in the early stages of the war

Advocate, all the figures are Perry (except the fortress guns that are a 3D print), rules are homegrown.

Excellent game and love the paint jobs. I agree that I wish I could do the work you did with this collection.

I do have armies for that war in 10mm and that will have to do for me. But I can always enjoy your efforts in what is a fascinating war to game.
