Would have loved to have seen this game between Robin Williams & Billy Crystal:

RW also had a WH40K Eldar army (wonder if it was the same theme? ;-) Haven't had any luck finding pics of any of his armies…

Robin Williams not only collects contemporary art but also military memorabilia. "He has samurai swords and Russian machine guns and sniper rifles and Russian anti-tank rifles," says Zak Williams. "It's all sort of interesting stuff. Lots of camo stuff and swords, daggers, pistols, all sorts of figurines and emblems. He keeps them in what I call the war room, it's about the size of a midsize bedroom."

There was a store near Tiburon, CA that he went to buying WWII tanks.

When Robin was filming Mrs. Doubtfire I painted some Real Partha 17th Lancers for him. He gave me a book version of the script for his movie Toys, and wrote in it,To Rich, " Make fun, not war." Thank you. Robin Williams. It is one of only two autographed pieces I own. The other is a baseball signed by Garth Brooks…I don't think he is a gamer though.

I would not want to have gamed with either Robin Williams or Billy Crystal, but I would have loved to be in the room! Thanks for posting! Fun thoughts!

I wonder if you ever had the chance to play a celebrity (who you liked…) would you let them win ? :)

At a convention Frank Chadwick played an ACW game of the "Battle of the Crater" I designed, he lost.

Would have loved to have been in the room for Robin Williams and Billy Crystal -- that's a performance I would have paid to watch!

I was at that convention!

At I think the same convention, I played against Frank in his WW2 game Men Under Fire. (My surprise charge into his line was surprisingly effective, but his partner had already rolled up my partner's right flank, so the battle was a draw.)

Yeah, I would've paid to see that, must've been hilarious. D'ya suppose anyone bothered to record it?
