Just before I left GFI, Minifigs was going to do some by Dave Higgs. I coordinated on the model list. That was before Dave Ryan bought the ranges. The Moderns remain jointly owned by myself as the modern 10/12mm/N scale range was jointly developed between Minifigs Productions and Game Figures Inc. GFI remains dormant until the assets can be moved back to Colorado from storage out of state into a new production facility. Check Minifigs at Caliver Books to check for the lists for Modern French. |

Minifigs does make the infantry, but not sure if they are Cold War appropriate, or later. Their West Germans are basically post-Cold War troops (very, very late Cold War with ultramodern helmets). They do make the AMX-30, I think the AMX-30B2 (can't recall for sure), a couple of APCs/IFVs, and the RC-10 recon vehicle. IIRC, they're 1/150th scale. You can get the AMX-30 in plastic too, but they are getting rarer, and more expensive – 1/144th scale. Red3 make a lot of Cold War vehicles also in 1/150th, but I can't recall if they do French vehicles and troops yet or not. |

I was browsing the Modern range the other night and they look reasonable for the 1980's Cold War from the small picture. But could be later!

Yea, I'm not an expert on French rifles, so thought they might be post-Cold War models, but don't really know. |

The rifle looks like its the FAMAS (1978 to now'ish). No idea about the uniform or the helmet – but it is 10mm! |
