The sooner the better those MBTs, etc. get there the better. They should have been there already, IMO. The USA's top threats were and are the Russians & Chinese. The US [& NATO] have a real good chance here to cut off Putin's/Russian's wings, etc. And if properly armed the Ukraine can do it IMO … The Russian military is not very good … the Ukraine outclasses them. What more does the US/NATO need to know ? The US has the funds to support much of this.  |

Good to see many are sending support to Ukraine. But where all the US AFVs ? I think the US is dragging its feet. For fear of the Ukraine going into Russia ? Which is ridiculous. And when I say Russia. I mean don't the Donbas and Crimea. Those belong to the Ukraine. At this point Russia holds only a little more territory than when it invaded over a year ago. IMO once the Ukraine gets all the US, NATO, etc. support they need/want. They will go on a general offensive to push the Russian invaders out, killing many of them and reclaiming the Donbas and even Crimea. The UN will probably have to set up along the Ukraine-Russian border. When this is over. Like in Cyprus, the former Yugoslavia, etc. Also, Putin needs the think about once Finland is in NATO. They share an 800-mile border, IIRC. Yes, more NATO units will be on his border. Probably including not just Finns but other members of NATO. Putin/Russia will never get it. They brought this on themselves. The Finns and former WP joined NATO to keep the Russians out of their nations. As the former WP did not like Russian occupation after WWII. Nor did Finland like the Russian invasion before WWII. Yes, a lot of people don't like Putin and Russia. That will not change for a very long time. |

Why did so many former WP nations join NATO after the USSR fell ? I'm pretty sure I know that answer … Many must realize that Putin attacked a nation in Europe, where those nations on the chart are. They must also realize Putin & the Russians are committing war crimes. In those nations "backyard" … Who does not get that ?
