Not just too many protesters but we also have millions of illegal alien males of Military age. That is a good replacement pool for them to be part of the Ukraine's Army … Just like what Russia did with the prisoners sent to front … if they survive all is forgiven. Of course most won't make it out alive … |

French President Emmanuel Macron has proposed sending European soldiers to Ukraine, though other countries have been wary of provoking a direct confrontation with Russia.
Ingrida Šimonytė told she had parliamentary permission to send troops to Ukraine for training purposes — something her government has floated before — but that Kyiv had not yet asked for this. Šimonytė acknowledged that Russia would consider it a provocation, but added: "If we just thought about the Russian response, then we could not send anything. Every second week you hear that somebody will be nuked."

Several NATO members, of which majors, such as the United States and Germany, have categorically rejected the French idea of sending their troops to Ukraine. Others have adopted a more nuanced position, such as Poland, Finland, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia and the Czech Republic After Lithuania, another (Baltic) member Estonia is also considering "seriously" sending troops to Ukraine into western Ukraine to take over non-direct combat, "rear" roles from Ukrainian forces in order to free them up to fight on the front link |

France Ukraine after declarations from Ukraine not confirmed until now declaring that French military personnel will be sent as training cadres The explosive announcement would be imminent, "hundreds of French instructors" soon to be deployed in Ukraine? Paris could announce the sending of military personnel to Ukraine to train soldiers for President Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to France next week, despite concerns from some allies and criticism from Russia, three diplomatic sources said . France also hopes to create and lead a coalition to train Ukrainian soldiers, diplomats said, although some of its European Union (EU) partners fear this could lead to direct conflict with Russia. "Very advanced preparations" The training would focus on mine clearance, maintenance of operational equipment and the technical expertise necessary for the use of combat aircraft that will be provided by the West, the diplomats said. Paris would also finance, arm and train a Ukrainian motorized brigade. Preparations are very advanced and we could expect something next week," one of the sources said. Volodymyr Zelensky is expected in France on June 6 as part of the D-Day commemorations, which mark the 80th anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy.
He will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris the next day. On Monday, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrsky announced that he had signed the necessary documents for the arrival of French military instructors in Ukraine to train soldiers. The Ukrainian Defense Ministry, however, later qualified this statement, indicating that Kyiv had "expressed interest in the prospect of receiving foreign instructors in Ukraine." Russian President Vladimir Putin warned on Tuesday that the presence of the regular French army in Ukraine would represent a new step towards global conflict. "Create a coalition" France has trained around 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers since the Russian invasion in February 2022, but always within the EU. The mission in question would take place without the consent of NATO or the EU, according to diplomats, with certain partners of France refusing to participate in a mission that they consider too risky.
Questioned again on the subject during his trip to Germany, Emmanuel Macron declared that he didn't use to comment rumors, adding that he would have the opportunity to discuss the subject during his visit next week of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in France. "Training on Ukrainian soil is one of the projects discussed since the conference on support for Ukraine. According to diplomats, France hopes to create some form of coalition. No common European position The Baltic states have already said in the past that they could join such an effort. "Lithuania is ready to join a coalition led by France, for example, which would train soldiers in Ukraine," declared Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis on LCI on May 20. European Union defense ministers debated on Tuesday the idea of training Ukrainian forces inside the country, but failed to reach a common position on the sensitive issue, said Josep Borrell, Top EU representative for foreign affairs and security policy. link |

IMO the US and NATO should do all they can to support Ukraine in clearing the Russian imperialists aggressors from their homeland. Training Ukrainian troops in country has some merit. Putin will go crazy[ier]. However, IIRC Art.5 will not apply if NATO troops are attacked outside of their nation/in NATO territory. Putin knows this too … |

Germany – Bundeswehr (181,500 soldiers 80,000 civilian employees) needs to recruit additional 75,000 soldiers due to threat from Russia to augment additional allied corps, divisions, and brigades necessary to implement defense plans. – Spiegel – previously, Pistorius stated that Germany should be prepared for a war that could occur in 2029. link link link Germany's defence ministry believes it will need at least 75,000 additional troops to fulfil its NATO commitments as the alliance adapts to face what it sees as an increasingly hostile Russia, Spiegel magazine reported on Friday. NATO's plans are projected to lead to an increase in Germany's military personnel target from the current 203,000 soldiers to "towards significantly over 272,000" men and women in the armed forces. A Defense Ministry spokesperson could not confirm the figures. A senior military source told Reuters the figure might need to be higher as Germany would be a major staging area and logistics hub in a conflict, suggesting a "mid-five-digit figure" on top of the 75,000. |
