Another month of restrained buying. I did pick up a few ARVN and Duster from Empress. Finished the Brunswick unit by painting 12 more figures but that was all. Last Months topic TMP link bought – 5

Well, the best laid plans of mouse and men, brung low by covid. This month zero/zero Work deadline, travelling and the virus put paid to painting. Luckily I had it quite mild, 3 days fever then dog tired since. Anyway, still on the Baden battalions, hope I'll finish them this month, then a couple more French battalions to sort out MTD 0

not a good month, painted a lot for others and got some good deals on ebay. Bought= 365

Net= -100 So need to watch spending and paint like crazy. Though I am just finishing 106 28mm Napoleonics(which will change the numbers to positive). I sympathize with Timbo W, when I got covid I didn't paint for 3 weeks, really messes up plans. |

The beginnings of the summer struggle. With the warm weather the yard work, garden to our English friends, becomes significant. Painted 0 Bought 0 YTD +79 At least I didn't lose any ground. I have some Romans and Gauls That I thought I would finish over the weekend but didn't. So I have a jumping off point for June. |

I was able to control myself till the end of the month where I found a grest deal on some Middle Earth minis but that was my only figure purchase. Here are the numbers' Bought

I had a bunch of stuff come in this month and didn't keep up with the painting. However, I just prepped 200 figures and got in the speed paints, so June should look up again. Start: +94 Painted:

Not as good as I fantasized, but not at all a bad month.
I painted 25 human size figures plus 3 larger figures, and I bought--drum roll, please--no figures at all!
Totals for the year: 106 humans and 5 large creatures painted, and 46 humans, 3 large figures, and a tank purchased. I'm starting to doubt I will finish 300 figures this year, though. Grelber |
