The second round of Kozcon's open 25mm ADLG extravaganza!
My Polish are pitted against Kevin Swanson's Numidians.

Looks fun. And good to see some Numidians – though I would have expected more light cav; but perhaps I am thinking of wrong century.

But more importantly (enquiring minds want to know) what is the design on Daryll's flag?
Looks like a painting.

Ding ding ding ding, ding ding! You are the first to call attention to the new banners. And are a winner of my patented (but idea stolen) "No Prize"!

Its a copy of a stamp commemorating the Ukrainian soldiers on Snake Island that told the Moskva to Bleeped text off when asked to surrender.

It has nothing to do with the Polish, except that Poland seems to be doing a great job taking in Ukrainian refugees of the current war between Ukraine and Russia.

But it struck my fancy, so the Darryl's got new banners.
For more on the stamp, here is the NPR article. link

Surely a polk of Poles and a nest of Numidians? Hard to be properly nurturing when you're coming at someone with a sharp pointy thing.

You know, I almost said "painting or postage stamp"

What self respecting Numidian takes an army like that???

:~}

Cheers,
John

;) You are making an assumption there with "Self Respecting".
