My son has a school project where he has created a museum style display about the Civil War. His project in on the Anaconda Plan. We thought it would be fun to create a map with some 1/1200 scale Civil War ships on it. But we only have two and half weeks for the project. Does anyone know an online seller that would have ACW ships at 1/1200 that could ship to the USA (specifically WA) in 10 days or less? Or on the offhand chance you know of a store in the Everett WA area that might sell these? I see some sellers outside the US but I am not sure they can ship in time. Any suggestions? |

If you have access to a 3-D printer, try this TMP advertiser. link The files are available for immediate download at Wargame Vault. The originator of the files is a long-time naval rules writer and enthusiast. Jim |

If you're willing to use 1/2400 there's these models: link In 1/1200 there's these ships. link Both are in the US. I don't know how fast they are. |

If you get the old Houston's ships from Wargaming Miniatures, get only those ships – most of them are actually closer to 1/1000 scale, and don't mix with other brands. You could also try Brown Water Navy Miniatures at Shapeways: link Either way, there's a very good chance you won't get them in time. 3D printing your own is the only way to guarantee a short turnaround time. - Ix |

If you aren't wedded to scale you could go on Epay and search for "Lindberg Civil War Battle Of The Monitor & Merrimac Plastic Model Kit". Buy it now for 25 bucks plus shipping, probably arrive in less than a week. |

auction …is the fastest option I can figure. 10 days is a pretty narrow window. There are some relatively rapid options, but 10 days isn't a percentage outcome. |

What ships do you need? I have dozens of my 3d printed ships that can ship out tomorrow. If you need specific ones I don't have printed I could probably do them in a day. My store is the Brown Water Navy miniatures that Yellow Admiral posted if you wanted to take a look. Email me at brown.water.miniatures (at) gmail.com if interested. Matt |
