Ambushed when left unprotected in the rear on long-range fire-support?
The Turks lost a few that way in Syria and the Saudis in Yemen. Perhaps the last one left of its battalion, chuckle. Or protecting looted wartime-critical electronics, ie. washing machines dumps (WMD). Who knows. |

Zero concept of combined arms. If I was that tank commander, I would have deployed smoke, taken up evasive action and not stopped moving. I would slag an occasional round at the infantry on my way out of there while on the move. Not the time to be the last Tiger tank from Kelly's Heroes. |

I'd have thought spraying both sides of the road with the coax would be more effective than the main gun. |
