I'm feeling the pull of the force, but I'd like to stick with 15mm if possible. What's out there from US dealers? |
Thresher01 | 05 May 2022 3:21 p.m. PST |
Probably the olde Micromachines figs, since I think some of the others may no longer be available due to licensing issues. GZG and Rebel Minis, as well as Khurasan make some nice looking 15mm figures that may work for you. |

What about character figures? |

Do the micromachines work for speeders, ATs, etc.? |

There are STL files for resin printing that you can print in the scale of your choice with certain limits. I already own a ton of MM Star wars figs and can run large Clone Wars games with them. Use Star Wars Monopoly figs. They are around 18mm. I am running a 6mms Clone Wars game at our Gamers of OINK game day on May 14. Thanks John |

I don't have access to a 3D printer. Are the Micro Machine figures 15mm? |
Thresher01 | 05 May 2022 5:23 p.m. PST |
Closer to 18mm, so in line with the latest "15mm" figs which are really about 18mm tall for a number of ranges. |

Thanks. For some weird reason, Khurasan doesn't have photos of "Those Curious Chaps" on the website. |

Not weird…keeps the lawsuits down. |

If you're willing to look at 20/25mm you can often fins the pre-paints from the game on Ebay cheap, and painted! |

I'd love to find out if Khurasan and Rebel human sized figures match up okay. |

Looks like I need to expand my search parameters. I actually had a good size collection of SW Legion figures, that I sold a year or so ago. Just couldn't settle on a good set of rules. Now that I've got rules. The itch has returned. |

Joe, just saw your question. Most vehicles in the MM line are around 10mm or smaller. The speeder may work. But most others will not. Thanks John |

These GZG could proxy as Rebels:
These troopers are from Highlander Studio:
Comparative shot:
These are from the old Laserburn range:

Clever use of the GZG Slammers infantry as Rebels, I like those. There are some other good ideas on this thread. Here's my attempt at it – the figures are all Highlander (great service from them BTW), but you might get some ideas for vehicles/scenery: link |

Hey now, let's not forget about the rest of the galaxy, check out Ral Partha Europe-Critical Mass Mercenaries, CP Models, Khurasan and Brigade Models. Some great alien, droids and even Ewok-like figures that will flesh out your line up. Darkest Star has some great figures that would make good human characters as well. |

Sadly, there are far too few aliens to make populating a world possible in this scale, which is indeed a pity. I'd like to see far more unarmed (as well as armed) aliens to populate places like Mos Eisley, etc. |
