Do these miniatures actually scale together correctly? As many have noted, the epic ACW infantry is 13.5mm tall. Are the metals the same scale, or were they sculpted before the plastics so "true" 15mm (or even bigger)?

If you browse the numerous posts on TMP regarding this you will get a lot of opinions and a few facts.

Kallistra metals seem to be the nearest match to Warlord EPIC ACW but there will be some compatibility with some others.

I don't think that is what he is asking.

I don't own any of the Warlord metals but, everything that I have read and seen indicates that Warlord's metal figures scale with their plastic figures.

I don't have any of the Warlord metals except for the infantry command strip which are identical to the plastic strips, probably the same moulds.

I have some of their resin mounted commanders and they are slightly bigger than Kallistra mounted commanders but quite compatible.

Yes, sorry I could have been more clear in my initial post. I meant to ask about the scaling between Warlords' ACW plastics and their metals.

I have both the metals and the plastics and the two match -- as far as I can tell -- perfectly.

Okay great. Thanks HansPeterB. Now if I could find an American retailer that had everything in stock, that'd be even better.

Jeeves – there are a couple of stores in Texas that carry Epic Scale ACW: Dibbles Hobbies in San Antonio, and The Dork shop in Mansfield Texas. Both have websites and great owners – order direct from them and mention Lone Star Historical Miniatures.
