One of the games run last month at the DWG was a twist on the Battle of Maida refought using French and Russian forces.

Interesting fact. There is only one area (not station) of London named after a Napoleonic land battle. It's Maida Vale named after the battle of Maida. Good one for a gamers pub quiz.

Interesting idea, well executed. The game looked great, the snowy field looked good; the fact that the figures themselves weren't mounted on snowy bases didn't matter.

Cheers,
John
