Anyone else remember him? Not the movie version, but one of the "Warriors Three" from "Tales of Asgard?"

Not that I would ever do such a thing, of course, but if I felt an urge to construct an SF Mongol force--bikes, trikes and heavy weapons mounted on the backs of pick-up trucks--does anyone make a 28mm head like Hogun's for converting crew? I'd need them by the sprue--maybe 100 heads overall.

There's a few on the Gripping Beast Arab Light Cav and Heavy Cav sprues, but nothing like the quantity you need. You could get some Heroclix cheap and perform a head-ectomy. But for 100, your best bet, might be to contract for a 3D printed option

Clearly I'm not, Arjuna. No Head of Hogun the Grim, no project. Always get the part you can't possibly do without before you spend money on anything else. It's a stupid idea anyway. The stuff I need to paint just to get rid of will take much of this year. The stuff I already own and might want to play with could easily take more time than I have left. But the idea still calls to me.

If I had the heads--probably Ramshackle Games for vehicles, and seems to me there's an outfit in Australia which does enough other 28mm body parts that I ought to be able to assemble some crews. Might not be any waste. Of course, I can always hang any surplus heads from the pick-up trucks.

As I say, another attractive dumb idea. Not my first. Probably not my last.

Perhaps check for cheap Heroclix if you can find them on eBay.
