Just completed this lovely old model for my friend 'Old John' (as he is known in the world of vintage wargame figures). John is a lifelong collector of figures and I have been painting for him for more than 12 years now. His collections include many of the early 20mm metal ranges including Hinton Hunt and Les Higgins (he owns the rights and moulds for the latter range which started I believe in the 1970's. John keeps me very busy these days!

Thought I would drop a post here and if you are interested in vintage figure ranges please pop over to my blog where I have loads of them linked from gallery pages. I'm also engaged upon painting War of the Spanish Succession cavalry for another vintage collector, these being more fine old Les Higgins castings looking as crisp as when they were made in the 70's.

Cheers,
Lee.

Note: the axle rod extensions just need trimming down in the photos.
