"There's a bit of meme going through the various gaming blogs at the moment where writers are answering a series of questions to prove if they are a proper wargamer. The Wargaming Site started it all off and, in his usual in depth style, Sir Frontline gamer has written a lengthy piece about why we should ignore it. Don't know how he figured out his points to determine if he was a proper gamer. I have done 12 of the things listed. I have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on wargaming. hate to know the full amount.

70%

£500.00 GBP on figures…..err, yeah, probably, just about (ahem!) grin

But not every year!

I found a receipt from Minifigs yesterday for £39.49 GBP. Apparently something was out of stock (or I got the postage wrong) and I have a 49p credit with them.

Neat! It was from 25 years ago, but I'm sure it'd be honoured….evil grin

Well, I think I've got about 70% Unless that 500 GBP thing is intended to be an annual figure, rather than a lifetime figure.

In some cases, I haven't exactly done what the question asked. I haven't gamed with pike blocks, but I did an ACW game at a convention where somebody had glued the points of straight pins to the rifles as bayonets. So I figure this counts. Fingertips still curl up at the memory!
