Interesting. While my interest in this conflict for wargaming is certainly not a 10, I think it is underrated. I see some good potential for some games. As a matter of fact, GHQ published a scenario for Micro Armor the Game. It had tanks on both sides plus helicopters as well. The equipment is also interesting as you have the Iraqis with a lot of Soviet kit and some other stuff vs the Iranians with mostly Western equipment. My interest in doing this conflict at some point is probably around a 7 but I have other things such as Arab-Israeli and Cold War that have my attention now. |

I am at a 9 for this conflict. Love the list of equipment that can be used, and the length of the war leads to many possible scenarios. |

All that (relatively) modern hardware, and yet it quickly devolved to WW1. With some of the Japanese Kamikaze spirit thrown in. |
