As I was kicked out of the build something contest I can show you some more pictures. These are two terrain pieces roughly 40x80cm big. They fit against each other to form a 80x80cm terrain piece. The Sandbags and other parafrenalia are 3d printed on a resin printer. The rest is scratchbuild. The roofs of the bunkers can be lifted up to place miniatures inside.

It is superb, but I was asking myself, if this is a firebase, where is the intended fire coming from? Until I read on and saw the two sections shown are just peripheral to gun pits and a helicopter LZ. The end result should be amazing, to judge by work so far. I also want to see lots of Claymores and row upon row of nasty spiky poles, to discourage the sappers from the bad guys. |
