This weekend at the DWG I was able to give my Dark Age collection a run out with another refight of our local Battle of Pinhoe, fought in 1001AD, just outside of Exeter.

Our preferred rules for this kind of game is Dan Mersey's Dux Bellorum which are always great fun to play and have produced some great games in the past, with this one to living up to previous plays.

If you would like to see how the game played together with other information about our local battle, then just follow the link to the club blog.

Thank you, it was really fun getting Dux Bel out on the table again, and I'm looking forward to our big game next month.
