"International Women's Day is that time in the year where we loudly and proudly honour women's accomplishments. Not only an opportunity to spread awareness of persistent global inequalities and ongoing gender bias, it offers us the chance to reflect on the achievements of women, and better consider those who have been overlooked.

Over the last few years, we have seen both digital and tabletop gaming rise in popularity and, as a result, more women have joined the army of dedicated hobbyists and visionary game designers than ever before. We will have equal rights if nobody cares anymore wether something was made by a woman or man (or else).

Being from the last century we had some pretty effective ways to determine your gender. The most obvious is to look down there or if the doctor is giving you a prostate exam, you're a dude.

If someone wants to dress up as an ugly woman who am I to judge. I am learning one thing tho from Lia Thomas to Amy Schneider and Ava Foxfort from the article, to be a successful woman it helps to be a man.

If the hobby is to survive we must be a broad church , where every gamer is welcome whatever their diversity and gender.
Otherwise we will find that the hobby declines as the greying misogynistic grognards keep bleeting on about the glory days as they pop their clogs and the general public look upon our hobby with even more distaste than they do already.

If the general public disagrees with what I'm doing I'm most likely on the right track.

For me it's mostly the hysterical gamers I upset.
