I backed the BonesV, and liked it a lot, but the Bones6 doesnt look that interesting.
The core set- not interested in Gnomes. The ant infestation, one queen and 5 ants? maybe 20 ants would be ok, cheap easy cast. the town guard- not that impressive for guard men. the Zombies-- Ok I have a 3d printer, and Zombie stls are very prolific, as are all undead, most easy stl to find for free.
Now I like the bones- more durable then resin prints, and buying stl for miniatures you only need one of is kind of meaningless, but stls for things you want many duplicates of is where they are useful. for one shot minis- bones or metal are hands down better.
The Green Griffin expansion- mostly interior parts to a inn. for the 50 bucks your 1/4 of the way to a Ender3 and you can print your own, plus you can then 3d print your tavern dungeon tiles, all off of thingiverse for free.
All of the Chibi heros? dont know what they are for! I just dont get them as being used for anything in dnd. maybe if you have 5 year old kids, but not for people wanting dnd miniatures. Now Bones5 had some wonderful miniatures, lots of really nice dragons, a full set of kolbalds, a nice selection of Player Character type miniatures, most of the Core set, very useable by most people.
Anyways, with what they presented so far, ( and maybe they will be adding more expansions that are useful) this set isnt as impressive as the Bones 5.
