Covers seige of Lao Bao during operation Dewey Canyon II by a artilleryman who survived it. I read it on ebook and was inexpensive but think on Kindle Unlimited it is free. No matter was well worth paying and regret only its brevity.
Hardly could put it down once started. Takes place in Vietnam on the Laos border in 1971, Gary Raffrrty was a member of A Battery, 2nd Battalion, 94th Artillery, 108th Field Artillery Group, XXIV Corp and gives account of his time in Lao Bao.
