I've been collaborating with some Ukrainian sculptors to design 3D-printable Ukrainian soldiers to help raise funds for Ukraine.

The first sculpt designed by a Kharkiv-based artist, of a Ukrainian soldier firing an NLAW, has been finished and is available here for "donate what you want":

I'm in. Not exactly my thing, but it will be fun to paint.

Postscript: Quick review – it comes as four STL files: soldier, base (without flag), soldier with SLA-style supports, base with flag and SLA-style supports. Based on my experience I would be very confident of successful prints. Almost certainly going to print better with SLA than FDM, but you knew that. I'll probably try and FDM anyway.

Thanks guys! And thanks for the review @Andrew Walters.

Yes the supported files print just fine on my Elegoo Mars 2, though do be careful removing supports around the feet as the ankles in that version are a bit thin. The unsupported version has thicker ankles but I haven't had time to support it yet (same with the base: the flag adds a lot of print time and is rather fragile so I had Nikita remove it but haven't yet supported that version).

FYI for those without 3D printers this figure is now available as a physical figure from Speira Miniatures: link

And YouTuber Miniature Landscape Hobbies (here: YouTube link) just sent me a preview of a painted version he did that will be in his Sunday video:

A quick update:

Ukrainian sculptor Nikita Klimenko has designed another 3D-printable Ukrainian soldier for charity, this one firing a captured russian AK-12.

As before you can download the STL file for free, or for a small donation to benefit Ukraine:

And here's what the new sculpt looks like printed out:
