If by "talking" you mean "ask a question then shut up and actually listen to the answer", then that should be ok. Most people like to talk about their beliefs and opinions. If by "talking" you mean "trying to force someone else to change their opinion based on how forcefully you vocalize your own opinions", then that will probably end badly. |

I once sat in on a game at a convention during the run up to the 2016 presidential election. The GM announced that anyone who was not voting for his preferred candidate would have to take some penalties in the setup phase. He wasn't joking. |
