Hey all A friend just informed me that 4Ground was closing. I looked at the website and it's shutting down June 30th 2022. Sad day indeed. |

Is there another company that is buying 4 Ground?? |

Damn, another great company bites the dust. |

A real shame. Looks like they make a lot of very nice stuff. Would love to see them sell their intellectual property/designs to someone else who might be able to make a go of it. |

I will miss 4Ground, I have a lot of their lovely buildings, and will miss their goods on sale at shows. |

Well they did have good product but after having been burned by them in their fabled realms Kickstarter not too sad after the amount of money they essentially stole from me and 400 others. |

@wk This can prove useful when researching UK companies: Gov UK – Companies House You can see the directors, and from the People tab – other companies they have been involved with. If the director has listed their own home as a registered address then you can use Google Maps (or similar) to see their house. NB Oligarchs tend to use shell companies and accountants so you can't see where they live! |

Thanks Stoppage The Kickstater was back in 2017 when 4Ground was a reputable company, i had purchased a lot of their buildings. It was due 2019 but nothing ever showed up. |

The whole kick-starter business model seems a little dubious. Using it to fund professional equipment and salaries – gambling – with the business risk being borne by investors. However, I can see it being useful in supporting a marketing effort for an existing, possibly minimum-viable, product offering – as in building up consumer interest and offering extra value (ie discounts) to the early-adopters. |

Just had another thought for those of you thinking of ordering from 4Ground. I would be very wary of sending money to them knowing that they are closing their doors I would be afraid they would do the same thing as they did with the kickstater, just keep the money. |

Some background for 4Ground's issues – apparently exacerbated by reduced orders for UK Heritage knick-knacks caused by lack of European visitors. A Glorious Victory for Brexit! Pendraken forum – 4Ground |

Wow- I was just thinking about ordering a bunch of fabled ground buildings from them after I seek my Tabletop World buildings. This is sad news! |

@cf The 4GroundPublishing website is operated by Tymeagain Ltd: Companies House – Company Number: 03888894 According to the Pendraken forum link above – an ownership company of 4Ground (which has demised). Not having any skin in the game at all – and, knowing nothing about anything in particular – and, as the Companies House entries look bona-fide – and, as they appear to be getting rid of olden stock – you should be okay. |

I believe that info from the pendraken was from 2019 so no I would say that there is little to believe from 4 Ground. |

Nobleknight has some 4ground terrain available. I just ordered seven Mordanburg houses from them. And already received them. 😃 |

4Ground made some nice MDF terrain and will be missed as a major supplier of terrain in their respective category. Fortunately, there are other companies (many in the US) who manufacture terrain products for the hobby and gaming industry. I wish them well. No one likes to see a small company in a niche industry go out of business. |

Has anyone had a more recent experience with 4Ground? A friend and I ordered some buildings from them back in May and we've received nothing from them so far. Thanks |
