Given the huge spike in fuel prices in the last few days, weeks, months, I suggest that if you want to make any international purchases, you do so NOW, before the shipping rates increase again, and/or the fuel surcharges get slapped on to your shipments. No doubt, the increasing costs for fuel and energy will hit the manufacturers soon too, so get those orders in fast, before that happens. |

1) 28's are done.
2) The unpainted 5/6mm will take me years to paint--by which time there will be some different crisis.
3) I expect shipping on 2mm armies will remain affordable. And the surge in "get your orders in NOW" is one of the things which spikes inflation. I think I'll sit on my lead pile for a couple of years and see whether the next crisis makes more sense than the last three or four panics. |
