Hello All,

We are hosting our first ever regional Wargamer's Flea Market!

Location:
VFW Post #3460 in Media, PA
11 Hilltop Ave, Media, PA 19063
VFW Telephone: 1-610-566-9980 (not for event info)

Wargamers Flea Market from 10am-4pm

Our regional gaming clubs from NJ, PA, DE, NY and MD are hosting this event to sell Wargaming goodies old and new. We decided to do this in light of the recent cancellation of HMGS Cold Wars. Come out and see if you can find something that satisfies that wargamers need to acquire new shiny things!

The venue will open at 10am, all comers are welcome. To be immediately followed by a Happy Hour with a cash bar in support of VFW post #3460.

We have about 20 sellers of wargaming materials including painted armies, terrain, piles of unpainted lead, books, scenario/references, rule sets and much, much more!

For complete event details please email cab1111111@aol.com

Should we list our wares?

Sure that would answer other questions.

Should we list our wares?

Even though its only a 30 minute drive for me, its always more enticing if you know people are selling stuff you might want.

Yup. not pumpkin bread. I cant Focus so that is a not starter for me.

Rotundo13 Mar 2022 5:28 a.m. PST

This was fun. I made a little coin, guys walked with a little lead. Weather was a factor. The bar was a better factor. Different take on an old idea. Well done Cliff Brunken.

This was a very enjoyable event. Easy in/out on the ground level. Despite the weather the parking lot was full. I'm certain many were turned away by the weather, but results good regardless. 20 Sellers… had to scramble some for tables since they were a little short on rectangular tables, but made out alright. Good quality density vs other shows. Hard to say how many heads attended, but I managed a decent selling pace throughout the day. Sold a lot, but managed to buy quite a lot as well. Still walked away with a good bankroll. Alternate payment methods were all permitted. You were also allowed to sell things from under your table which was nice.

The adjacent bar was a pleasant addition especially toward the end of the afternoon. Rusty Cop performed improv on the Mic toward the end of the day to help everyone through the drudgery of breakdown.

This event went extremely well… the event (sellers) paid for the VFW. Shoppers attended for free. People were all saying how great this was and when will we do this again.

A special shout out to Cliff for spearheading the effort and making it happen.
Well done and Thank you!

Concur with that assessment.

Except I was expecting Rusty to break out in Volare there for a minute.

Sold a few things, bought a few things, saw friends, laughed a lot. Cliff done did good with this one.

Well done and thank you, Cliff.

I'd like to see more one or even two day events like this throughout the year. We pulled this off successfully even with the threat of snow. Less than ideal conditions and the venue was fully funded.
