Two weeks prior to Russia's invasion of Ukraine The Marine Corps University ran a professional wargame on this exact thing. The results were eerily similar to reality. Jim Lacey, the author sent this out within military circles and asked us to post it to social media to show the value of wargaming. I hope you all enjoy this article as much as I did: link Forest |

Yes, very interesting … I would think the Russian did a similar wargame … or should have. BTW, for some who may not know what these NATO map symbols mean, scroll down on this article. link May make it a little clearer. We used these symbols when I was on active duty. And many wargames from AH, SPI used then as well. As we played many of those in our youth. |
