Hi to all
I am starting to paint British regiments in F&IW also in AWI…..I need help to discern the colors of vest and breeches of buff regiments. I know collar and cuffs and turn backs were Buff but I believe the belts were buff too, is this correct?. Coats are red, ok, but are the vest and breeches beneath the coat Buff too or red ?? I have looked everywhere on internet but it is confusing….please help all you knowledgeable people out there…..thanks in advance from a novice…

Waistcoat was made from previous years coat so would be red, breeches were also red during the SYW era. Only by AWI era had the waistcoat and breeches become buff in buff faced regiments.
