Secret projects. We all love them. I mentioned that I had two in my 2022 plan, if approved by the Ministry of Finance. I am pleased to announce that Secret Project Number One has been approved and is a go. The project I am referring to is getting back to my gaming roots in the Age of Napoleon. link |

Congratulations, and welcome back! Just to think about. I finally went two ways with Napoleonics--tactical at around 1:25, at 1/72 and larger with individual figures removed, for the smaller, more intimate horse & musket battles and down to 5/6mm with each 2" base representing 1,000 infantry for when a corps or more was present. The 5/6mm force lets you fight the large battles if you get the urge without requiring thousands of large figures and the rental of a gym, while the larger figures let you worry about battalion formations and snipe at generals. Trying to do both at once tends to make for better photographs than games. |

You do realize that once to go down the Napoleonics rabbit hole you may never resurface. I've been gaming with Napoleonics since the early 1970s, starting with plastic Airfix figures as well. But I got started earlier in high school with their WW2 figures and Rocco tanks. Jim |

I am sneaking my way back in through the War of 1812. Don't pull me in any farther, PLEASE don't. I have a plan. I am doing 1812 in 54mm. No BIG armies! Hahahaha! |

Grattan54, I was not satisfied with the rules available at the time and sold my collection to finance the Late Roman period and EVW. |
