I have designed a 10mm ww2 ruleset that I think could be appreciated by others. I'm not really sure how to relay it to others however. Since I'm not going to make any money, I'm not going to have my own web domain. What is the best free option for hosting a ruleset? Facebook page, blog website, one thread on a forum..etc? |

Facebook would work. You could post it in the files section of the 10mm Wargaming group. |

I imagine there may be a similar Groups.io page, but not sure which one(s) would be best. |

I have a number of free rules posted, but as I have no interest in commercial returns I have placed them all on IO:Group site in an appropriate group, facebook and google files. I have found many wargamers do not like facebook and do not possess an account, so you may need more than one site. Google files is only good as a place to load the rules which you can access from other sites. As a general rule few people will find them in those locations so you do need to promote them on this site, or perhaps the wargamersforum and perhaps create some utube videos as well. However, if the rules are a high quality putting them on wargamersvault would be a good idea, with a nominal fee, or even free. I have seen a number of free rules on that site. As for IO:Group, if you do not find a site to place them on create your own and place a link in the description to a copy of the rules on google files. That way people do not need to join your IO:Group site to access the rules. Give it a useful "search" name so people can find it in a search. This shows an example: link There are links for two sets of old rules which people can use to download the rules from google files without any need to join the IO:Group. |

Set it up on Wargames Vault. You can do it for free or "pay what you like." Then if someone loves them they can send you a beer, so to speak. No cost to join/set up and it's well known place to gamers. |

I agree with Extra Crispy. Put them up on Wargames Vault. It's everyone's go to spot to find new rules |

Wargame Vault will be glad to offer them on our site for you, even for free. Load up some kind of cover image tho! |

It sounds like wargames vault will be the place to be. I'll just use the facebook pages and forums to let people know that might be interested. Thanks everyone! |

Do remember that to see anything posted to FB, you have to agree to let Facebook dig up any information they can find on you anywhere and sell it to whoever they feel like. There are people so unenlightened they won't agree to this. Can't imagine why. Much better The Vault. |

There's no reason not to try all of these. WV is great for coverage, FB promotes discussion and feedback, a blog does so as well |

I usually just put them on my blog or in the relevant groups.io or FB groups (or all three). |
