Wanted to drop a line and say "Thank you" to TMP and the marketplace. I recently sold an enormous amount of 20mm Vietnam War stuff for a good deal. I actually had two other people look at what I was selling and told me that I was asking too little for it all. The stuff found a good home, and I hope the new owner gets plenty of enjoyment out of it. TMP marketplace made it happen! Thanks again! Murphy |

I find it very difficult to get to the point of selling something on the Marketplace. Something resembling logic will eventually get me there (You've had these figures for 15 years and you still haven't painted any of them!), but it takes a while to get that to sink into my brain. When it finally does sink in, I want to sell them, not dawdle trying to get the last possible penny from the sale. If that means underpricing them, that's fine--I worked hard to get myself to that point and now I just want to see them leave to a good home. Grelbe |

And if I may horn in here and add, I have bought several items on the marketplace from several TMP members in the past few months and each time the transaction went very well – as advertised, prompt, professional. Kudos to marketplace sellers. |

How do you pack your figures to ship and how do you ship them? Thanks I have only shipped books and comics so far. |

The past year or so I've been passing on various things I've finally accepted I'll never get to. I've always had good luck and been in touch with some great TMPers. |

It has always been a great and helpful place for everything regarding the hobby. |

@35th OVI For painted stuff…. Wrap stands individually in bubble wrap. Then when you ship make sure the box has no air space. Nice and snug so nothing moves when the box is shaken. Extra air space is the bane of packaging… |

To protect the paint, I would suggest wrapping the figures in kitchen/cooking wax paper, first, then use bubble wrap, as Extra Crispy suggests. I shipped some painted minis that way, many years ago. The recipient was ecstatic as they had no chipping whatsoever. Cheers! |

Thanks all. Wow that would be a lot of wrapping for 2 seven years war armies. |

Don't use Rice Crispies! Recently received some backed that way and all it was was a mess. No real protection of the minis. |

I've used puffed wheat as a packing material. The downside to it is it does leave some dust. I've also used shipping peanuts after carefully packing them around stands. The important thing is not to permit any shifting of contents during transit. |

I have been using rice crispies for years…over 25 years at least…shipping 1000's of figs…never ever had a major issue. |
