Anyone know what the difference is between the first edition of the Jagdpanzer rules and the second edition? Do these include rules for differing armor thicknesses for various facings, armor penetration, etc.? How is the To-Hit and Damage Results conducted/calculated, e.g. dice conventions, etc.? I don't know much about these rules, other than recalling seeing them eons ago in a hobby shop. |

The main difference is that the infantry rules have been re-done. The AFV rules work really well my former gaming group uses these rules. One feature of the rules that I like is that a light tank actually has a chance to damage a heavier vehicle which reflects the chance of a lucky hit but it is unlikely to happen. |

Thank you for the replies and info. Wish they had different values for armor for hull and turret, though not sure how critical that is in most cases. Looks like a decent, quick-play option. |

In that case you need to start tracking hit location which adds a die roll and a chart. Plus you have to figure front of the turret or side? Or rear? There are probably rules that do that (Tractics?) but not sure I'd want to play them. |
