At the end of last year, U.S. Bank announced that it would be donating its building on 2800 E. Lake Street to a nonprofit, Seward Redesign, to redevelop the property into affordable housing, retail locations, and community spaces. Ahead of donating the property, they will be demolishing the building on the land. Within the building, there is a 115-year-old, 20+ ton vault door that they would donate/gift to an interested group. U.S. Bank would help cover the extraction cost of the door.

Looks like it could be laid on it's side to make a really big gaming table. The weight might be a problem, though.

Seems unnecessary to me. I think a good keyed lock on the house and the garage is sufficient to protect my lead. To paraphrase Hannibal from the "Free Man of Color" series, "if people knew how hard it is to sell castings in this town, they'd worry less about someone stealing them."
