If you had "snow days" this week, did you get anything hobby-related done? I was off Thursday and Friday, so I got a few things done. I painted two 25mm scarecrows and 5 25mm hags/witches. I also read Treasure Island and watched a couple of movies. |

Yes, 4 Front Rank 40mm British infantry and light bobs. Also, turned off the TV (trying not to watch the  trainwreck) and played a few sports board games – hockey. |

Received some terrain and bought some more, though being retired, they were only snow days in terms of me shoveling the white stuff instead of napping (and then needing the nap even more.) |

Packed up my 20mm Vietnam War stuff that I had for sale, (along with a lot of extras I had that I didn't list), and made two nice sized boxes of stuff for my buyer. Washed some Reaper Bones figures and based them. Cleaned up the painting room…sort of. Cleaned up the game room…..some. Drank coffee and watched old episodes of "UFO"…. |

Nope, I had to work in it. Ended up arresting a DUI who fought with me and other officers. Spit on a couple of us, tried to leg sweep a corrections officer, and grab an officer's 'private' region. He ended up with multiple felony charges and we went home. So…it was a good night overall. |

With the lingering cold wave, my unheated basement is cooler than normal at this time of the year. A thermometer down there says 60°. A bit too chilly for painting miniatures. My two choices are either to get a heater, or bring some stuff upstairs and paint at the kitchen table |

5mm Celts are now painted and based. Snow is still there, and Marian Romans are under way. Athenians, Spartans, Macedonians, Successors and Persians are already done, so by the end of winter I should have seven forces suitable for "big battle" DBA, with 16 (badly painted) spears, pikes, blades or warbands to a base. (Carthaginians are on hold until H&R resumes production of Punic Wars Romans.) The last big project. From here on out, I'll mostly be painting for the flea market. |
