Here again I painted Sho's savages bleues, providing quite a wild outlook of dress variation and plunder and different equipment, those miniatures are full of character.

For the colour I paint converted an Adolfo Ramos white Colonel colour.

Mainly I used Contrast colours, however the "whites" were conventionally painted, as well as the faces, which I did up a bit with additional conventional hobby paints flesh colours.

Those are really nice. I've been playing with contrasts on some 28s but not yet 18s. Looks like I need to give it a go.

Beautiful brushwork on some great looking figures. Love the drummer-boy.

Wonderful paint job V.W. Love the barberpole effect on the standard and on the cords not to mention the use of grey on the bicornes and ammo pouches, the detail on the hair. I often wonder why Sho seems to have the same marching pose throughout his ranges although this is greatly mitagated here by the wonderful variety in legwear. Love the torn effect and barefooted figures.
Regards
Alan.
