I am looking to do the Highland clans feuds, raids and battles. I would like to do it in 28mm. Looking for figure help. What companies would you recommend? I need figures with two handed swords and lochabers and regular swords. Maybe some early musket. |

Thanks Irish, But Reivers were not from the highlands and were dressed quite differently. I was hoping reivers would work but I discovered the clothing was just not highland dress. |

Hi Grattan54, Interesting period to pick. You could work back from the 17th century in which case Warlord have a fabulous range of highlanders. Also worth looking at the venerable Foundry range that mix in very nicely. Also worth considering the Gallowglass from the 16th century Irish ranges. Ulster and Scottish isles and northwest coast has close cultural ties in this period. Antediluvian have some of the finest figs anywhere for this.

Dixon, Reiver and Antediluvian have good early figures. You could also carefully choose Scots and Islesmen from earlier periods. |
