"Fighting raged for a third day Saturday between the Islamic State group and Kurdish forces in Syria after IS attacked a prison housing jihadists, with the violence killing nearly 90 people, a monitor said.

The assault on Ghwayran prison in the northeastern city of Hasakeh is one of IS's most significant since its "caliphate" was declared defeated in Syria nearly three years ago.

Will just make it easier to kill the ISIS … Sadly it cost the good guys.

They need to put explosive charges in and around the prisons to prevent this.

Try to breach or a rescue, and boom, everyone gets to meet allah a little earlier than perhaps they would like.

Capital punishment of the terrs locked up would prevent this too.

Set up mine fields around the prisons. Of course if the prisoners do attempt or get help to breakout. Then they are all viable targets.

Looks like the Kurds have this under control. Reports say ISIS was using children as human shields. And US Army Gunships supported the Kurds in defeating ISIS. I'm awaiting an accurate body count of ISIS and prisoners trying to escape. I'm sure it is high. I think it also shows that ISIS need more bodies carry on the jihads against the infidels.

We need to kill many of these types as possible, as they will not once again go back to be peaceful goat herders, etc. They are religious fanatics who want to kill anyone who is not them. There is only one way to handle them.
