I have tried (and so have some of my friends) several times to contact Historifigs using the emails on the website but without success (no reply / response).

I would like to buy figures from the retired 'Classic 25mm' range as the website says "While technically retired, figures in our Retired category can still be ordered, but will require additional production time; please write for more information."

Does anyone know whether they are still trading and how else I could try to contact them?

Website still comes up, and Mike is pretty active on different groups.

There is also the Table Top Talk private facebook group if you do facebook. I have ordered a few of the retired figures (as well as those in current production) within the past year and had no problems with deliveries.

Khanscom, thanks but I don't do Facebook and cannot understand why the email enquiries go unanswered. If it's just that they don't want to ship to the UK I can accept that but I would like to know the reason.

Billy:

Many US dealers cannot ship to the UK now (like me). New VAT rules require us to (a) register with the UK government, (b) collect VAT on the goods, (c) file quarterly tax returns with the UK and remit payment and (d) keep records for all of this for a period of 10 years.

So take the cost of the toys you're buying. Add 20% for VAT. Now calculate shipping. A small order of 6oz will cost you $17.25 USD. 6 ounces is about 6 packs of 8 15mm figures. So $30 USD for the figures, $6.00 USD for VAT, and $17.25 USD shipping. You're now over $1 USD per 15mm figure.

Far too much work for the very few sales I'll ever actually complete, so I just politely decline to ship to the UK.

Extra Crispy, do you work for Historifigs? Are speaking for them or suggesting why they wouldn't want to trade with the UK. I understand if that is the reason they might not want to trade with the UK but an answer to that effect was all I was seeking. I should point out that a friend in the States has also not had a response when he tried to contact them.
