A sneak look at our play testing of Never Mind the Boat Hooks – essentially, Never Mind the Bill Hooks naval Warfare. It's early days and there are still a few 'wrinkles' to iron out so it will be a while before anything 'official' is released. The boats in the play test were scratch built from wood and card board – there are plans for something a bit more presentable but it was fun regardless! link link |

So, a naval battle with cogs? I guess I never really thought about how these ships actually fought. Judging from the photos, some shooting with bows and crossbows leading up to a boarding action. Potentially interesting. Actually, the cardboard boats don't look bad at all. Long term, you might want to include templates/directions for making them. Our knights can go to sea; if we like the results, we can invest in fancier ships, if not, well, we've only made a minor investment in the game. Grelber |
