I have some questions about Recon 2022 (Orlando). I've looked online at HMGS-South's website, but all I can find are the dates in April and the fact the "contact us" email links don't work. Maybe they have more info on Facebook, but their Facebook page is private and I don't use Facebook, so I can't access it. How big is it – typical number of attendees?
Where is the hotel/convention center location?
Is it primarily historical tabletop?
What else do I need to know? Thanks for your help. |

I go every year but am not one of the guys running it . Ill answer your questions as best I can and yes it is worth your time . Turn out is around 250-325 , Location is Kissimmee-basically Orlando , Its probably 70 % Historical which include everything from Bolt ACTION , Flames of War and other WWII game , Naval , Air , lots of Colonial ie Sudan,Zulu etc. Big CW games , some Nap. battles , lots of Ancient ,Medieval DBA games etc….. Non Hist. big Star fLEET , 40K , mIDDLE eARTH , Sci-Fi etc.. Hope this helps and about 12 dealers and a good flea market |

They should be opening the tabletop site soon. Should be more information on the website as well. Attendance has been up last few shows (several were cancelled due to Covid concerns) and 300+ easily lately. |

Wise decision, Randolph! Recon and Hurricon are both great regional conventions with a wide variety of games and a bunch of friendly staff and attendees. Hope to see you there… |
